MapGen - FREE Map Generator for Tiled

This is a FREE (donations accepted!) Procedural Map Generator that generates lots of different kinds of maps that you can export to Tiled for further refinement. 

Good for ideation or for creating lots of different maps quickly.

The tool exports maps in the dimensions 32 x 18 (the common pixel art dimensions)

A very basic tileset is also generated but it is easy to modify the tileset to get what you want.

The tool creates 3 files for each generated map:

• A Tiled (https://www.mapeditor.org/download.html) .tmx map file - CSV and XML for easy import into your game engine of choice
• A 8x1 tilesheet with all the required tiles to render the map correctly
• A .png file with the complete map as an image file (suitable for some other map editors)

The created map will contain 2 layers

• The tile layer 
• A corresponding object layer. The object layer will output polylines, circles etc. corresponding to the selected tileset

You can open the generated map directly in Tiled if it is installed.

Right click the map to show more options.

An easy way to modify the map is to edit the tilesheet directly and replace the tiles with your own graphics.

The feature set is currently quite limited, but if you like it I can continue work to give the user more options to influence the maps created.
